    Description

    LOOK!  Western Electric SOFT PLASTIC model 500 Green Desk Set!  Mostly all date-matching!  Works well in all ways - hearing, speaking, ringing, and dialing.  Phone is dated 3-56, handset 3-56, handset caps both 3-56, transmitter capsule 3-14-56, receiver capsule is a Japanese-made undated replacement - original was missing that little round click suppressor and had slightly less volume - 425 B network 3-56, C4A, (4 wire) ringer 3-56, and 7C dial assembly is 3-56.  Plastic dial was missing, so I installed a spare that I had, has some crazing.  Can't make out the entire date on the shell, but it does read 3-13- ?6 in yellow at front edge inside.  All other parts appear to be original to the phone.  Has a new handset cord, and a 15 foot long coiled line cord(!) with 4-prong plug.  Use this phone as much as you like with no issues!
