    Description

Offered here is an original July 1942 edition of The Mining and Contracting Review. Includes twenty six pages of specific articles, photographs and advertising for Vanadium Mines and Mining. Great article on the new plant being built at Uravan, Colorado, that was on the for front of Uranium and Vanadium production for hardening steel and processing Fissionable Uranium for the first atomic bombs. The latter was a bit of a secret during World War II, the former a well known use of Vanadium Ores. A great pre-Uranium Boom era reference. Thanks for looking!
