    Description

    Offered here are two original 1938 Payment Vouchers from The New Jersey Zinc Company, Gilman, Colorado, for delivery of explosives to the railroad siding town of Belden on the Eagle River. One for payment of 25,000 Number 6 Western Blasting Caps and one for 20,000 pounds of Du Pont Explosives. The Eagle Mine in Gilman closed in the late 1970's. The track side town of Belden just a metal shadow of its former past. Thanks for looking!
